Julia Sylla

Julia Sylla has worked in the international education field for over 20 years at both the secondary level and in higher education. Julia currently leads QFI’s programs department where she works on our grants and programs that advance the teaching and learning of Arabic as a global language in schools. Prior to joining QFI, Julia worked on US Department of State intensive language programs and international exchange programs with the Academy for Educational Development, the American Councils for International Education, and the Council of American Overseas Research Centers. She has also worked in academic administration at Georgetown University and Tufts University.

Julia graduated from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine and received her MA in international education from The George Washington University in Washington, DC.
