Carine Allaf has 20 years of experience working as a teacher, scholar, and practitioner in various countries all over the world. Carine currently leads QFI's geographic expansion, monitoring, evaluation, and research. Prior to joining QFI, Carine worked in the international education humanitarian and development field as a lecturer at Teachers College, Columbia University, a teacher at American Community School in Beirut, Lebanon.
Domestically she worked in the Philadelphia and New York City public school systems and as a practitioner with organizations such as Save the Children, UNICEF, and the INEE. Carine graduated from Lehigh University and received her Master’s in Curriculum and Teaching from Teachers College, Columbia University, and her PhD in International Comparative Education from UCLA.
